Firearm Homicides Were Higher in Majority of the Largest US Cities/Boroughs in 2023 Compared to Pre-pandemic levels
San Jose, Brooklyn, Queens, and San Diego are outliers with fewer shootings than most US cities no matter the year. They've quickly reverted to pre-pandemic levels. Their counterparts? Not so much.
